1. What is Olympic Sixes?
Olympic Sixes refers to the fast-paced, 6-on-6 version of lacrosse that will make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games. Developed by World Lacrosse to promote global growth and accessibility, this hybrid discipline uses a smaller field, has fewer players, features shorter game times, and eliminates specialized roles like long-pole midfielders to create a more balanced and exciting game.
2. Is this only a Christmas Event?
No, this is an All-Inclusive Holiday Spirit Lacrosse event for EVERYONE to share!
3. Is this at the big indoor complex we know at that address?
Yes, at 6805 Industrial Rd, Springfield, VA 22151
4. Is my team participating?
Please send this website to your coach or organizer and encourage them to sign up!
5. Can I register as a free agent?
Yes, click here for Individual Player Registration
6. Does Olympic Sixes allow for long poles or is everyone a shortie?
We will follow Olympic Sixes rules which allows only short sticks and a goalie, no long poles.
7. Do I have to wear a costume?
No, you don’t have to, but we provide amazing holiday themed jerseys!
You can however, dress up and try to win best spirit wear if you choose to! Please note that you cannot wear jewelry or dangling accessories during game play.
8. Do I wear sneakers, cleats or turf shoes?
All are allowed. No metal spikes allowed.
